Based on the patient’s CT data, irregular shaped specific implants for left and right side sinus lift were designed in close collaboration with the dental surgeons. The implant design was modified with notch for easy handling using tweezers and with cylindrical hole for screw fixation. Our innovative 3D printing technology was used for manufacturing the highly porous calcium phosphate cement scaffolds. The fit of the implants was excellent and surgery successfully completed.
