A recent publication in the International Journal of Adhesion and Adhesives presents new approaches for the development and evaluation of advanced bone adhesive systems intended for orthopedic and trauma applications. The study focuses on improving adhesive performance and testing methodologies for next-generation biomaterials.

To create standardized mineral substrates for adhesive testing, the researchers used our α-tricalcium phosphate (α-TCP) material. The authors specifically confirmed its high phase purity, an important prerequisite for obtaining reproducible and reliable test results. High-purity α-TCP minimizes the influence of secondary phases, provides consistent material properties, and supports meaningful comparison of experimental data.

While the α-TCP was not the primary subject of the investigation, its use as a well-characterized and highly pure calcium phosphate material highlights its value as a reliable platform for scientific research and biomaterials development. We are pleased to see our products contributing to innovative academic work and the advancement of future solutions for skeletal repair.
