Recently a new research article was published in Bio-Design and Manufacturing describing an innovative workflow using MRI for the manufacturing of patient-specific osteochondral implants. Biphasic model implants made of INNOTERE Plotter-Paste-CPC as component for bone replacement and a hydrogel matrix for restoring cartilage tissue were successfully 3D printed and showed perfect shape fidelity as well as interconnection at the material interfaces.
