A recent publication in the Journal of Functional Biomaterials highlights the use of INNOTERE's Plotter-Paste-CPC as a reliable platform for advanced research in bone tissue engineering.
In this study, Plotter-Paste-CPC was used for extrusion-based 3D printing of customized scaffolds and combined with mesoporous bioactive glass particles. The resulting formulations showed reliable printability, well-defined scaffold architectures, and improved mechanical performance compared with unmodified CPC scaffolds. Beyond successful scaffold fabrication, the authors also reported enhanced biological activity of the modified constructs, including increased cell viability, greater cell spreading, and elevated expression of osteogenic markers associated with bone formation.
The work underlines how ready-to-use biomaterial formulations such as Plotter-Paste-CPC continue to enable innovative academic research and the development of next-generation concepts for personalized bone regeneration.
