A new scientific article co-authored by INNOTERE GmbH has been published in ACS Omega. In this study, a strontium-modified calcium phosphate cement paste (SrCPC), developed on the basis of INNOTERE’s established paste technology, was successfully combined with a bioresorbable polymer in a biphasic 3D-printed implant system. The results demonstrate that the SrCPC phase buffers the acidic degradation products of the polymer, enhances bioactivity, and promotes both cell proliferation and osteogenic activity. This publication further highlights the versatility of our paste technology as a platform for innovative research approaches, patient-specific bone substitute materials, and future additive manufacturing concepts in regenerative medicine.
